"It hurts. It hurts," the first lady said in regard to military families having to live off food stamps. "These are people who are willing to send their loved ones off to, perhaps, give their lives -- the ultimate sacrifice. But yet, they're living back at home on food stamps. It's not right, and it's not where we should be as a nation."

It's not right, and it's not where we should be as a nation.

Can someone help me out here? I'm not sure I understand her point.

I recommend a 9% across the board increase in military pay and a 25% cola increase for retirees.

It’s not right, but let’s let them pay an increase in insurance premium to cover injuries made by a war we sent them to!

Idiot.

We should pay more taxes. That is pretty much it. If some of us have money, we should send it in, because they will use it for people who don’t think they have enough.

By the way, with this new policy going into effect, there will be no way in hell a private insurer will ever cover another military person again.

That is a good point. They will put in exclusions right up front, did you ever serve in the military? Yes? OK then, we cannot cover you, -OR- your premium will be about 1000% of normal...

Her point is, she knows most of the military detests and doesn’t trust her husband. Her job is brainwash the families and get the approval of the troops. We saw this coming a mile away.

Note to Michelle: Obambi wants to cut off medical benefits to Vets ??? And, your concern rings hollow... military folks can’t stand your husband or you by association...

There is nothing in the entire world that she or her husband could do to get Freepers’ support. Even resigning and confessing wouldn’t cut it.

you don’t understand..insurance companies will be required to cover military personnel regardless of their location. If they don’t, they’ll be prohibited from selling to anyone, anywhere..ergo, the government steps in for insurance purposes once all the companies voluntarily go out of business and we then have to rely on the government even more../s (maybe)

“We saw this coming a mile away.”

Yep, you could almost hear the serpents hisssss in her statements.

Butter up the families and perhaps that will soften up the troops.

Another strategy exposed.

If E-1 - E-4 didn’t get married and have kids immediately most of the food stamp issue would be solved.

Few entry level jobs offer enough income for a family to live off of one income.

And yes, I once qualified as an E-6 w/4 kids...but didn’t take the handout because we lived just fine with one old paid for car.

Yeah, like you care, Michelle.... ________ Of course she doesn't give a sh*t. These 2 try to be so slick and the sheeple will buy it. It's obvious what she's up to and who sent her. They need to do something about faces like this when dear comrade in chief appears before them. Photobucket

She is right in that the military should be more venerated and better compensated. However, what has she or her hubby ever done to help either of these occur?
