Maybe, Chief Engineer has an alternate theory that fits better with most know facts. Namely that BHO was born in a home for unwed mothers, in Canada, even though his mother was married. The reason? The late Grandma Toot did not want her to be "punished" with a black baby, and so sent her away, as was common at the time for unwed mothers, to have the baby and have him given up for adoption. The reason Canada would have been chosen was that a half white half African baby would have a better chance there than in the US. But then S. Ann reneged on the deal with her mother.
The evidence? Stanley Ann and little Barack's appearance in Seattle as testified to by a friend of Stanley's (the family had lived there up until not long before) as to a visit when BH was still "All pink" and when his mother did not yet know how to change his diapers.
Then it would just have been a matter of filing the BC for an out of state birth to a Hawaiian resident, and bingo, he's got a Hawaiian BC, but it shows his birthplace as Vancouver or some other Canadian location nearby, it might or might not show the same date of birth as the posted Certification of Live Birth image.
But regardless of the details, BHO is hiding something, most likely something that would make him "officially" not eligible to the Office of President of the United States.
The irony of all of this...what choice would his mother have made if all the abortion laws that Obama supports were in place back then?
Is it really so clear that a mixed-race child would have had an easier time in Canada than Hawaii? After all, the reason that Hawaii achieved statehood after Alaska is purportedly because Southern senators were opposed to admitting a state with so many mixed-race people.
If Vancouver, which is something like 10 miles from the US border, was such an island of tolerance at this time, I haven't heard about it.
But no doubt there were some difficult moments in the Dunham family.

There is also the possibility that it is merely something embarrassing to himself and/or his mother.
Did it occur to any of you gentlemen that Seattle isn't in Canada?
