NH was once the home of (somewhat) cranky citizens that were reliably independent, notable for critical thinking and reasonably polite. The occasional invader from the south, would move up to escape the tax hellhole they created and wreak predictable havoc with their aggressive efforts to import the stupidity and government teat-sucking habits from the south. A combination of progressive dumbing down of public education in NH and ‘I’ll show them, I won’t vote’ idiots from North of the Notches, and the Dims took over the government with predictable results.
With Logan airport a nightmare to negotiate - mASSHoles have invaded Manchester-Boston Regional Airport - behaving like boors, driving like fools and littering the landscape like there was no tomorrow. The state is rapidly degenerating into Southern mASSchusetts!
I’ve lived in MA all my life. While it is an undeniable fact that the entire political game in this state is rigged in favor of the Democrats, there is another factor in play. The Republican Party in MA is a lame joke. All attention and assets of the party are devoted to running for a few high-profile statewide executive offices in the hope of obtaining a few years of time at the patronage trough. Zero effort is made by the party to promote grass-roots organizing, local town and district elections, etc. Moe, Larry, and Curley could have done a better job leading the party.
If the Democratic leadership in MA should be fired for corruption, the Republican leadership in MA should be fired for gross incompetence.
