I share your deep concern. I am sickened by his off-hand “joke” about our special needs children and adults. Larry King had Tim Shriver on this evening and he pointed out the disconnect “normal” people have demonstrated with their emails to the Special Olympics Committee telling him to “get over it”. He, too, was disheartned. Zero speaks for those who maligned Sara Palin and her son. He shares their unkindness and ignorance.
Does anyone know if Maria Shriver has weighed in? And did she have anything to say when Palin’s son was being maligned?
