Good ideas all, I am stunned by the numbers of people who don’t vote, never bother. These are the people we must convince how important this is and that we NEED them, each one of them.

“WHEN ARE WE GOING TO PUT SOME TEETH INTO OUR PROTESTS?
Because you can bet they’re LAUGHING THEIR ASSES OFF at what we’re doing right now.”

Well said. They have us out-organized as can be seen from ACORN and the majority’s minds are now controlled by the media and the government. The best we can do is a tea party. It’s not likely to get better any time soon because of all the in-fighting and lack of leadership.

OK .. first of all; these tea bags are NOT getting to the people you're sending them to. Do you remember 9/11? Do you remember the anthrax scares that came along after 9/11? Well ... maybe you also remember that they set up a mail processing facility for members of congress after the anthrax letters were sent. Now you folks actually think that your tea bags are going to go ripping through that mail processing facility and end up being dumped on some congressman's desk? Yeah ... and Obama's going to give a speech without a teleprompter any day now.

I believe Neal is completely wrong here.

I did read that special precautions were put into place after 9/11. The mail sent to Capitol Hill is being irradiated. I've been told that it can be subject to delivery delays, so that when writing to the Congresscritters, to always use the district address. AFAIK, no precautions are being taken at those offices and there is no reason to believe a teabag sent there would go undelivered.

If some security company has been retained on the Hill to open and inspect mail after it is irradiated, I can't believe said company would not be instructed to retain something that would allow the Congressman to know the essence of the communication and the source. Neal is nutz if he thinks that Members do not want to know what their constituents think.

Obviously he thinks a tea bag is taken as a frivolous gesture. IMO anything that suggests to a Congresscritter that a constituent just might vote for his opponent next time is, to the contrary, not taken lightly at all.

Thank you!

Think about the effects if we all did that? Hundreds of thousands of libs being harassed by their fearless leader and his wonderful government. The more I think of it, the better it sounds. And it would be so easy......

The teabag protests are brilliant in their symbolism and simplicity.

I think when people see thousands of normal looking American citizens take to the streets to protest Obama’s social engineering, Obama’s influence will tank. The liberal congress critters who are up for election will pull back their support. Liberals aren’t known for their loyalty.

Umm, you do realize people will not be sitting down drinking tea at the TEA parties, don't you?

“TEA” stands for “Taxed Enough Already”. This is a protest- not a party. Garden variety protests can be a quite effective way to let our legislators know they have crossed the line. They not only fear losing elections; they fear blood in the street. Our government will continue to do business as usual until they see us take to the street in rage.

For example, the “Solidarity” movement that started in Gdansk, Poland, was just the beginning of a growing sense of discontent which eventually resulted in the fall of the USSR. Whatever you think of the Vietnam War, it ended when people protested it in droves.

And then there was that other Tea Party in 1773...

The ballot box is all that matters and conservatism has failed there the last couple times around

There's a LOT more to this country's founding and continued preservation of the Constitution than a ballot box.

Most of the Green Tea comes from China where they still use DDT heavily, it’s found in very high concentrations in Green Tea, so avoid that.

I always thought as long as they have the people assembled why not make sure they are registered to vote and talk to them about getting others registered.

I thought as long as they are there why not collect some money to buy tax forms and envelopes. Have a well coordinated plan for all to send a uniform tax form to Congress and the WH. On the form, the name could be something like, Mr. I. M. Tyreduvpullindawagon. Invoke names like Geithner and Rangle and fill in our Conservative causes and grievances in the spaces. Have all these fake forms ready to go to DC the day before the deadline. That should throw a decent wrench into the works and with significant numbers the media might even pick up on it. I wouldn’t hold my breath though. :)

the porn age? You mean you’re from ancient Rome?

Pompeii. Pompeii was where the action was.

Rome was just interested in feeding lions to the Christians and giving thumbs up or thumbs down. Boring.

Go to Pompeii and say to the gatekeeper, "Caligula will vouch for me".

I have done most of that. I went to the Nashville tea party on Feb27. I’m not too familiar with Boortz, but if demonstrations make news and get larger, then I consider that a spark.
At the very least it shows this disgusting, fawning media that there are lots of people who are pissed off. They can’t ignore it forever.

You’re right. Of course, this is all contingent upon the US actually HAVING elections in 2010, and 2012. I don’t think that’s a given, considering ALL the monumental and dangerous things going on at this point.

I know EXACTLY what these tea parties are about. Their history and their symbolism.

They are no less lame than the pic I posted.

That’s not just my response. It’s also the response of the media, the president and (most importantly) the public at large.

Tea party? Don’t forget the lemon.

WHEN ARE WE GOING TO PUT SOME TEETH INTO OUR PROTESTS? Because you can bet they're LAUGHING THEIR ASSES OFF at what we're doing right now.

Exactly. Get in their faces, make it miserable for them. Skip this voting exercise. You know that ONLY the ones that bow to the elitists can reach the nomination & BOTH parties are controlled by the same (Illuminati). Plus no 3rd party can get traction because they are shut out by the corrupt "Two-Party Cartel". Guaranteed that no attention will be gotten until the protests aren't gabbing get togethers but REAL protests. (You can bet that the government in France is concerned with the protests over there).

"Being against Boama is like being against King George"

Not really! oscumbo is pure evil....King George was a distracted buffoon.

The Marxists that have controlled a large part of our life have already dismantled the former Constitution and eliminated most of our founded freedoms & liberty. oscumbo is far more powerful and controls his serfs far more efficiently than King George was able to control the colonists.

In fact, the colonists had far more individual freedom & liberty than we do today. INHO, had the founders been around circa the early 1900's, they would have been organizing a 2nd revolution.
