Nice move Gutman.
The Princess Patricias and some of our fine FReepers are about the only worthwhile thing that comes out of “America’s big, fuzzy hat”.
With some of the things the left accuses our military of it is kind of ridiculous for the Canadians to get so worked up over this. While I respect the Canadians they need to develop a little thicker skin.
What a bunch of freaking idiots. The Canadians have done some good work there.

The show is a satirical, humorous one, remember? It’s funny (my opinion)and irreverent (its basic premise). It’s not obligatory to take it seriously. I saw no jesting over the deaths of Canadian soldiers per se in the words quoted.
The comment about not knowing that Canadians have had involvement, and significant involvement and sacrifice, in Afghanistan, did betray ignorance and was not funny.
As for fighting for us (meaning America, I presume) I thought it was also in the Canadian interest to defeat terrorism (man-made disasters in the jargon of the messiah).
And who many times have America and Americans been the butt of Canadian “humor.”
Anyone analyzing Red Eye for a deeper meaning to life needs to change their meds.
Quit being so sensitive. We make a lot more fun of ourselves than we do of the Canadians.
Red Eye is entertainment, risky, running your mouth edgy. Asking them to tiptoe means shutting down the show, and that's a little too anal.
