“As to your man Romney, he changes positions as often as his underwear.”

So you say, based on a blog entry by a guy named James Pethokoukis from June of 08. Look it’s ok to admit you were wrong about his position on cap and trade.

His positions have been the same all along. The only thing that varies is the political motivations of the people reporting on it. There were McCain pushers infiltrated all over the media back then. And the Thompson/Hunter crowd fell for it by attacking Romney and letting McCain get a pass.

Can you not respond to questions asked of you? Tell me, do you think Hunter ever went along with something he wasn’t fully in agreement with but did it for the sake of the Party?

Show me one instance where anyone has ever stated that a conservative must “worship” Palin. You people talk out of your arses.

Of course I can, if it seems worthwhile. Tell me, do you think Hunter ever went along with something he wasn’t fully in agreement with but did it for the sake of the Party?

Yes, he did twice. But twice in 28 years, I'll forgive him.

I'm sure the nom de plume that you use here befits you.

...don't forget to ask ol' Duncan his opinion on that birth certificate next time you speak. I'd ask in person, that way you can avoid being hung up on.

“Did you hear her incoherent answers when asked about global warming? Apparently not.”

Maybe we didn’t hear the same things. What I heard her say was that she was not convinced that global warming is being caused by human activities. This is the most logical answer a thinking person can have.

If you bothered to look at the link I provided it listed all the potential 2012 candidates and their positions. Romney is not anti-cap-n-trade, he just thinks everyone should do it; even Jindal is evasive on the subject, Pawlenty is vocally for it, etc...

Yeah, thats what I am talking about !

Lets run another old geezer in 2012 ! ARLEN “da magic bullet” SPECTOR !

We will have a MODERATE, more mainstream candidate.

Better than that crazy lady from Alaska who actully makes her own children breakfast, and named one of her daughters “Piper”. We don’t need anyone in Washington who is not a part of the “in crowd”..

sarcasm...

I'll admit, she needs more work, but to sit here and bash her like a member of the Democratic Party or liberal media is reprehensible. To say she is damaged goods because of her being McCain's running mate is reprehensible. She has brought more excitement and energy than any one I can remember except Reagan.

You're quite wrong about the Democrats. Their behaviour in the last campaign was nothing short of hero worship for Mr. Obama. Is that what you want?

I put no human being on a pedestal, and I'm not making an exception for Sarah Palin.

I like Sarah Palin.

That said, she's no different than any other politician, and she should be subject to the same scrutiny and criticism as any other politician running for office in the United States.

Saying that Sarah Palin should be above the fray sends the message that she is incapable of weathering the criticism.

Is that really the message you want to send?

gain, for those so-called conservatives who bash her, either admit you just don't like Sarah, or get on board.

I admit it freely, I don't like her as a candidate. It's nothing personal, but I just don't think she's who we need in the WH. If she wins the Republican primary I'll vote for her, but she won't be who I'll be supporting in the primary.

It's not a coincidence that some of those who are most vocal in their criticism of Palin are Romney supporters.

So what. I personally don't care much for Romney, but last time I checked there was nothing intrinsically wrong with supporting the man. This is what primaries are all about.

Nobody should be above the fray. All I am saying is that these personal attacks have got to stop. For those out there who are critical of her, criticize her record and explain why she’s not ready and why your candidate is the better one, but don’t attack her integrity or her family.
