Ladies, thank you for bringing us this moving story this evening.

The panel Lt. Finn is leaning against? I have a picture of that section - I don’t think the sailor listed is a relative because my uncles aren’t quite that old...but, who knows?

“The very sad thing about the story to me is that when he placed his precious Medal of Honor in the scanning box, the airport attendants didn’t know what it was”.

This angers me on so many levels, I can barely type. It’s a real good thing for all concerned that I wasn’t in that airport on that day.

Hope that volcano thing up there is not bothering you guys too much.

Trust me, no one I have contact with would ever disrespect ANY veteran, much less a MOH holder. And if that did happen, that person would learn what an AF Military Training Instructor sounds like when irritated. It’s not something you want to hear.
