Obama did not attend "Columbia College." He attended Columbia University's "School of General Studies." This is an alternative program run by the University and has evening seminars" and "special programs", intended for part-time, or working students. It's OK, but it ain't "Columbia College." From the Columbia University website:
"Obama attended Columbia College from 1981 to 1983"

From the Columbia University website: "Obama attended Columbia College from 1981 to 1983" I think it's a bit of after-the-fact redaction. Apparently, no member of the Columbia College Class of 1984 has come forward to reminisce about the "good old days with Barry".
To the contrary, several have come forward to ask, "Who is this guy?" The Obama College Years: A Mystery Wrapped in an Enigma?
