But part of the definition of fascism is extreme nationalism. Obama disses America, and says he’s a citizen of the world, so I don’t see him as a nationalist. Otherwise he seems like a fascist to me.
Agreed about the nationalism, however, the “true” socialist is a “citizen of the world”, like you say.
BOs staying in Iraq and Afghanistan says he’s a little on the imperialist (at least in the short term) side, which leans him to fascist. His blaming (scapegoating) any segment of the population (in this case working people) is also a fascist tendency. If there are labor camps set up this time, it will be us in them.
His redistributionism is almost pure commie.
I haven’t finished the book, and one book certainly won’t make me an expert, but those facts are why I label him fascist/commie.
He’s young in his “rule”, he can still go hard core one way or the other. We live in interesting times.
