So how do you explain Adam as the first man if he had ancestors? After all, if evolution is compatible to Christianity then it means their was a living breathing individual who gave birth to Adam and Eve. Right?
Then Paul was full of crap when he wrote to the Corinthians;
And so it is written, "THE FIRST MAN ADAM BECAME A LIVING BEING." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. (1Corinthians 15:45)
So my question remains. Where did Adam come from?
Remember this is a question only for those who claim to be Christian and accept evolution as the way God brought about averything.

The bible is allegorical.
And I am a Christian.

"First they were created in potency through the word of God and inserted seminally into the world when He created all things together, after which He rested from these works on the seventh day. From these creatures all things are made, each at its own proper time throughout the course of history."
