You know it saddens me to think of that day. In one week Our Lord went from being the Saviour King of Jerusalem where people were putting their clothes on the ground to cushion His donkey’s footsteps... To a week later and He was forced to walk these same streets; tortured, beaten, carrying an incredible heavy load meant for His death, and derided by those same citizens.

People are stupid, vapid, and extremely fickle. Nothing much has changed.

~~~
True words. The shallow masses are sadly easily led, even virtually and blithely drawn and quartered.
I pray that the Light and Redemption of the Holiest of Sacrifices will penetrate the dense fog of global cultism and inertia and renew the hearts, minds and capacity for righteous action in men before it’s too late.
Wishing all who honor it a blessed and meaningful Holy Week, and earnestly beseeching the infinite mercy of our Almighty Father on our beloved country .. as we’ve always known it.
I find it incredible how they keep harping on about it. There has been much white slavery and still is in the world but it never get much publicity.
Slavery is abhorrent whether the person is white, black, Asian or whatever but when it belongs in history leave it there, do not forget it and sweep it under the carpet but please do not preface every event that is shown of Zero with a mention of how far has America come etc etc.
“NO CLASS-NO CLUE IGNORANCE OF FOREIGN PROTOCAL that even the average person would have better sense about !!”
I must confess that I laughed out loud at this. I know, not funny, sad.
You are overreacting to my comments and exaggerating my opinions.
There is no reason Senators and Representatives could not have done better defending President Bush. There is no excuse, IMHO, for our side to have conceded issues and the attacks on President Bush.
You and I can remember all this differently and that’s fine too. I don’t plan on continuing this back and forth with you because it’s unproductive and accomplishes nothing good.
Feel free to have the last word.
IMHO they were not pushy enough to overcome the media in their efforts to put down everything he said or did.
Jackie was beautiful and could speak French fluently. Aunt Esther is Black and all the Whites feel guilty. How hard is it to get a crowd of Socialists in Europe cheering a fellow commie?
Pray for America and Our Troops
Yup, Zero got the big zero from the NATO countries, after all those months of telling us that they wouldn't help because George Bush was a meanie.
...my fear is all we did was put four new tires on Armageddon
That is precisely what we have done.
The incredibly incompetent response to what the successful ballistic missile launch by North Korea today portends is in indication of this. We currently have over 100,000 American military personnel stationed on bases in Japan and South Korea who are already in easy range of North Korean missiles.
With just a little more improvement in accuracy and refinements in the miniaturization of their nuclear warheads, the North Koreans are poised to inflict a devastating first-strike blow against us (not to mention Japan and our other (soon-to-be former) Pacific allies. Chem/bio warheads, which are already available, would be almost as effective.
Then, with just a little more added range than that achieved by today's missile, American territory, e.g. Alaska, Hawaii and the West Coast cities of the US will be at risk.
This is not speculation. This is completely doable for NK, and they are steadily and unswervingly on-track towards that capability.
The only rational response for Japan is to change their Constitution and go nuclear. Those of us who follow these things suspect they already have everything ready "on the shelf" but unassembled in order to stay in compliance, so to speak, but they can probably field a nuclear arsenal in six months.
The dogs of war have already been loosed and are on the hunt, while all we can do is prattle on about the faux elegance of Michelle Obama...
This is true! But let’s not forget that HE and only HE AROSE from the GRAVE! Paid our debt so that we could have easy access to The Father God for all time and beyond.
Without Jesus sacrifice all of mankind would be lost, gone forever. And the most beautiful part in it all... this was done in spite of us!
(of course you know that, just saying for some others that may be lurking)
Other than his own people, no. The template is that he is enormously popular but he didn't get anything...and he didn't.
How do you know they didn't try?
Oh, I get it, because they didn't appear on the Sunday shows to do so...
When listening to Steffie deal with Barky admin people, it is impossible not to remember at all times that he has daily coordinating calls with the white house.
It really just renders his program pretty much useless.
No, cap and trade will be subject to the 60 vote rule.
The rest of the obamination of a budget will most likely need only 50 votes in the senate.
