My understanding was that the ballots from overseas had until April 13th to get back to the states although they had to be posted marked by the date of the election.

I also understood that it went through the legislature and those conditions were agreed upon.

Was there a deadline by which the ballots had to be mailed out to the military? I understood that they were mailed by regular mail to go overseas a mere two to three days before the deadline for having them postmarked. It is fine to have a rule for postmarking, but what good does that do if they don’t have any deadline for mailing them out which allows for time to get there and then be filled out?
