The Obama administration is expecting a clash with Netanyahu over his refusal to support the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel.
In recent weeks, American officials have briefed senior Democratic congressmen and prepared the ground for the possibility of disagreements with Israel over the peace process, according to information recently received. The administration's efforts are focused on President Barack Obama's Democratic Party, which now holds a majority in both the Senate and the House of Representatives.

Unfortunately, we are living a four year nightmare.
Does this mean we might just threaten Israel with the US NAvy and/or more?
This is the “test” Biden warned about.
It won’t be action against one of the usual suspects.
It will be action against Israel in some way, perhaps blocking them against Iran, maybe even sabotaging their raid on Iran’s nuclear facilites.
That is why Biden said “our response will seem wrong, but we need you to trust us at that time that we are doing the right thing”.
The PA and Hamas have never ever lived up to one of their obligations to Israel. Obama crowing that he will hold them responsible to do so is only hot air and thuggish bluster, which he has no intention of doing.
We have our first Muslim President. His actions to date, including an unprecedented bow to the Saudi king, have clearly shown his intentions to elevate Muslim intersets worldwide rather than the interests of America.
Every day, there is at least one new outrage with this President and his administration. I’ve lived through many Presidents and I have never seen this radical a group and such radical policies offered and implemented so quickly, not even under Clinton.
If the American electorate does not repudiate the Democrats in the 2010 elections, it is clearly the end of America as we have known it.
“Our” enemies and friends are not the same as Hussein’s enemies and friends, I think.

I have never been able to understand this unwavering support for democrats by so much of the Jewish community.

If this happens, the U.S. transport planes loaded with arms and equipment will only be supplying Palestinian. Israel won’t get a single round of ammo from us. obama, pelosi and reid will make sure of that !!!!!!! When that happens, I look for a few U.S. generals and admirals to say “Fu*K You, obama”, and put in papers for immediate retirement.
Just so happens that I saw a story about this subject today. It was reported that the Obamas have not been seen attending a single church service since he was inaugurated.
But I'm really not going to go there, because it is also my understanding that Reagan never attended church, due to the inconvenience that security would cause the other church members.
What does bother me is that the Obamas have young children, and it is really important, IMHO, that the children have a church home. Not enough children are taken to church regularly, and look what is happening to our society.

Should the United States Government oppose Israel or “confront” them in a way that endagered their very existence, that would be the LAST mistake our nation would make. The hand of God has remained on our nation — despite MANY offenses to Him — BECAUSE we’ve been a protector and friend to Israel. If we turn our backs on them, God will take His hand off us — and woe be unto us then...
