President Obama has not attended church services on any of the 11 Sundays since he took office, despite his pledge to find a new church after quitting Trinity United nearly a year ago because of the Rev. Jeremiah Wrights incendiary rhetoric.
We probably wont make any firm decision on this until January, when we know what our lives our going to be like, Obama told reporters last May at a press conference that he called to announce his break with Trinity.
By this point in former President George W. Bushs tenure, the president had spent several Sunday mornings attending services at St. Johns Episcopal Church, which is located opposite the White House off of Lafayette Park.
But the president made no decision in January, February or March. And now, with Easter just days away, Obama has yet to reveal what church he may have chosen or when he might attend his first Sunday services as president.
Days before his inauguration, Obamas director of religious affairs, Joshua DuBois, said the Obamas look forward to learning more about many churches in the District. DuBois, who is now director of the White House office on faith-based initiatives, added at the time: They will choose a church home at a time that is best for their family.
Also in January, Obama told ABC that he and his wife Michelle would visit various Washington churches to find one that feels comfortable.

Muslims don’t go to Church, they Mosque.
“My muslim faith.” That’s why.
If he was really a Christian he would already have found one.
What does a communist need a church for?
0bama only used church as a prop.
He doesn’t need it now that he’s been elected.
BTW, Satan can quote the Bible chapter and verse. I’m just sayin’...
It is obvious that he attends a church service at the local gym which he visits religiously every Sunday.
Perhaps he is waiting for the church to come to him.
Does he have that puppy chosen yet?
You know what? It’s none of my damn business when or if another person goes to church. And it’s no one else’s damn business when or if I go to church.
He hates religion - especially Catholicism. Like Castro and Mao he will seek to diminish religion because it is a threat to their statism. Religious people tend to be strong and free and independent with a real moral code that they strive for. It runs counter to the Obama socialist message. Obama wants nothing that usurps the power of the State.
Obama is seeking to make Catholic hospitals perform abortions because they will then abandon them, and the government will take them over without compensation.
He thinks religion is the opiate of the masses.
Any good Christian would already have gotten a dog for his daughters.
I wonder if he had bacon with those waffles.
I think more people have either starting going to church or starting going back to church since The Muslim Apologist was elected.
You are absolutely right. It is your choice alone whether to attend services.
One can argue that, according to scripture, church membership (in the broad sense, not a particular congregaton)is automatic for Christians, seeing that it’s the Lord who keeps the roll, not the locals. Can’t ally with the groom if you deny being the bride, etc.
But Obama’s issue is a completely different one. The church is for believers in Jesus as Christ. Obama believes in nothing but himself. His attendance, at this point would be nothing but another publicity stunt.
IMO, he needs to stay home.
Unless you're the President and you've been lying about your religion for a while. He used the fact that he went to a Christian church (if you can call that Christianity) to get himself elected and now suddenly he's bowing to the Saudi King ...something you might expect from a Muslim but NOT an American President ... especially a Christian one. The problem is how deceptive he is, not whether or not he goes to church.
Completely true until you use a form of religion to lie to the American people.
When hell freezes over.
