I’m really amazed the range was only 25 to 30 meters, if the reports are correct.

This is “which button do you want me to hit” range for SEALs. Firing off handed, while hanging upside down from a rope.

This was virtually a “time on target” firing squad. As soon as the pirates showed 3 heads at one time, they were DEAD.

I’m sure the CO of the ship was fully briefed. “As soon as we see 3 heads, we’d like to shoot.”

“Okay, you are the experts.”
