Thank you. Personally, I think from a logistical perspective, the 4th would be a bad idea. There's just too much other stuff going on. It would be an additional burden on Public Safety personnel, and I think we should all celebrate the 4th for what it is.

FWIW, I would have preferred to see today (April 19th) selected as the day for the tea parties. Unfortunately, Waco and OKC have put a negative connotation on Patriot's Day, the anniversary of the battles of Lexington and Concord. Ironically enough, Patriot's Day is a legal holiday here in Massachusetts, but sadly that has more to do with the Beacon Hill hacks getting a three-day weekend than love of country.

I think we need more tea parties, but not based on particular dates. They should be held, but not too often where people get sick of them. Yes, the squeeky wheel gets the grease, but we also don't want to be perceived as whiners.

The tea parties are crucial, but they can only be a small part of a greater fight to retake our republic.
