LOL! So you think that wealth just appears out of thin air?
Sorry...but someone has to be willing to pay those high wages. And how can anyone pay those high American wages unless they make money...and how can they make money if they aren’t competitive?
Hardly. But my original point stands - your position is absurd. If an IT worker can no longer afford his home because of pay cuts to third-world wages, guess what? He won't be able to afford to invest in their company, either. And you persist in denying that fundamental truth.

They are quite competitive at current wages. There is a competitive advantage to operating in-country. What they want is to remove the competitive advantage from native workers by bringing the cheap labor here. Like I said, Indian workers can work for lower wages in India, and live quite comfortably there. But Americans cannot live a middle-class existence on Indian wages here.
Maybe you yearn for an America modelled on Argentina, where the middle class has been largely destroyed. Or resembling third-world countries where a few oligarchs live comfortably in gated and guarded communities and the rest live in a largely diminished world. That is the endgame of your viewpoints. And guess what? They'll toss you aside as well, as soon as they no longer need your shilling, and outsource your job as well.
