Somehow, Citizen Zero will find someone even lest qualified than Souter.

Unfortunately, he will be replaced by a like minded lefty who is about 30 years younger. Not a good trade.

Not perfect for either side, DiW. We’re disappointed that our Fearless Fascist Leader gets to replace a justice.

The left is disappointed that That One will not be replacing a conservative.

This is no net change. Souter is a lib, and will be replaced by a lib.

After reading about a Clinton friend suicide, Hillary Clinton comes to mind as a candidate.

He won't have to stack it; it'll be 5-4 for the Marxists.

Consider the constitution toast.

Hillary, Bill, or if he was really smart - Biden. Get that ridiculous fool out of the way. This seat is for sale at a much higher price than Blago was fishing for Obama’s senate seat. I don’t expect anybody too young for this seat. The big leftist players will move to the front of the line.

Can’t do much worse than Sununu’s folly.

Mr. Eminent Domain was just waiting for a liberal president to appoint his successor.

Good news. You really can’t get too much more liberal than Souter. This gives us a chance of BO’s nominee to the court to eventually turn out moderate or conservative, a reverse “Souter”.

A huge mistake by the elder Bush. Souter is the result when politics trumps competence

No, not a good trade, but not a world ending tragedy either.

Which ever one of the imbeciles we had chosen, bammy or mcloon, they would have replaced this fool with another of his ilk just to keep a “balanced” court.

Bush #1 appointee Souter usually votes liberal so the court will not change that much with new Obama appointee replacing him.

Don’t hold your breath that we’ll get a closet moderate or conservative. It will be a fire breathing global marxist.
