Identity Politics trumps justice.

The SC is a joke . . . and about to become a bigger one, even with Souter out

Everybody should watch this! Transcription...

"Court of Appeals is where policy is made. And I know - and I know - this is on tape and I should never say that because we don't make law - I know - [audience laughter]. Okay, I know, I know [responding to audience laughter - wink and a nod] . I'm not promoting it and I'm not advocating it [more audience laughter]. Okay. Umm [lots more insider audience laughter]"

This is so outrageous! This vile and despicable wpman is outright laughing at and spitting on the constitution and holding in contempt every man, woman and child who believes in the rule of law, not of men.

Few things are more disturbing than realizing our freedoms hang in the balance by a shuffleboard team with law degrees that have never done anything worthy of note in their lives except be quoted in law review journals.

Typical of 0bama and his ilk, the constitution is just an annoyance to be gotten around in making policy.

The longer term, and potentially most damaging legacy of the 0bama pres__ency will be appointments to the Supreme Court. And, this woman is just the sort of nominee he will seek out.

This is frightening stuff.

It’s time to take back the country.

Conservatives look at the Constitution as something to preserve and uphold.

Liberals look at the Constitution as something to be subverted, bastardized, and marginalized.

Liberals are corroding this country’s Judeo-Christian foundation.

Typical Hispanic officiousness.

For an explanation check out "Juan Peron". Or, better yet, catch a Spanish language soap opera. There's a series from Argentina where the secret policeman plays a regular part.

I will say this, most Mexicans I've ever met overcame the problem. Still, even after years spent in American universities there are those like that Juan fellow who worked for McCain ~ there's no hope for him, and it sounds like this Sotomayor gal is in his league.

The fact that she's actually of Puerto Rican descent should be ignored. No doubt that she's turned into a professional Hispanic and left all that behind.

She’s a perfect example of everything that’s wrong with the judiciary. And this country.

It’s about good and evil, and spitting on the Constitution is not what good people do. The rule of law is being destroyed, and this woman is laughing, celebrating, and likely to work to continue that evil.

Judges don't make policy. They determine if the case before them meets the Requirements of the Law, As It Is Written and Measured Against the State or U.S. Constitution, As They Are Written. NOT some pansy waist policy creation based on the false premise of Social Activism or the antiAmerican “ISM” of “Social Justice.”
