A quiet 45/70 might be fun for night hunting of coyotes?

I like the idea of a 500 grain subsonic, but you sure don’t need the case capacity of a 45-70 to push it that slow, and that large of a case might just prove problematic for uniform ignition.

OK, just for you...lets re chamber that 45/70 and trim the case down.

Or, how about re chamber for a 45acp or even 9mm?

Lots of 45LC and 44mag lever actions out there that would be fun to put a silencer on.
