Actually, I don’t see this as frivolous. No, I am not a lawyer, nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn recently...but...
Didn’t alot of lower Manhattanites, leave work, run down flights of stairs, run to the streets? How many cases of chest pain; nausea; astham attacks occurred because of the stress? How many ankle sprains or falls (people running in dress shoes)? What about the loss of productivity...how many returned to their offices? This whole incident could have been prevented; or could have been scheduled on an early Saturday or Sunday morning. No. There is culpability here.
I think I missed my true calling.

I agree with you & maybe you did miss your true calling. I can't imagine the fear these people felt.

I have yet to see anyone consider that this might well be a gesture to some Hollywood producer for film footage for a future movie project. There were a lot of political contributions from the Hollywood interests. Maybe I have missed someone else making that suggestion.
