Your post is great! A friend and I have discussed the fact that we baby our kids beyond what is rational. We have put a number on what is considered adult instead of teaching our kids how to be an adult.

Where are you getting this stuff? You need to be deprogrammed. Bristol was and possibly still is a player. She has an opportunity to make money off her “mistake”. I for one will not speak respectfully of her if she is in the news and my teenage son or daughter are in the room, if anything I have to explain how she got to be the spokesperson and that she is benefiting from her teenage pregnancy and if it happens to you it will not be as glamorous. She needs to GO AWAY!

It did purify her in a way because if you watched the interview you couldn’t help but think she is a sweet and modest person, kinda like her Mom.

I can picture the interviews now “ Mrs. Palin, your daughter Bristol is the Teen Ambassador for The Candie’s Foundation, I understand that she is paid for her appearances, how much was she paid? How do you think this makes her an example of the consequences of teen pregnancy? Is this really giving young girls a true picture of teen pregnancy? Don’t you think she is glamorizing and using her pregnancy for personal gain? Then Palin give a canned answer that doesn’t really answer the question. GOP look like a bunch of ignorant hypocrites.

They are not obsessed the Palin’s won’t go away, Bristol became Teen Ambassador for The Candie’s Foundation, they hired her for this because of her high profile. The foundation wants publicity and Bristol is willing to use her pregnancy to sell it to them.
