I guess they couldn’t take the heat they were getting from BO’s Chicago thugs. Chicago politics is not pretty. Better broke than dead.

I will not buy a car from a government owned company.

Better broke than dead. Maybe it was their heirs who disbanded.

Where is YOUR 401K money and YOUR pension fund invested?????
To: OldBlondBabe
That's okay, the company will fail anyway. I don't think Fiat really understands how the UAW will destroy them.

Contract law has been abrogated. Bankruptcy, a mainstay of contract law, has been immolated.
Only the fascisti win.

They bowed their heads and got on the train. Like good little comrades.

“A group of Chrysler LLC’s dissident lenders disbanded”
“dissident lenders”
We’re in a 1984 novel now.

Ford is what I'm thinking.
I had a Taurus once that was a good car...until it was hit when parked (by a driving dead man) and was totaled.
But that's another story...

Exactly. It is not a disagreement, they’re branded as evil - dissident lenders - newspeak and Obama’s media capons lead the charge.

No GM or Chrysler is in our future. They will have a hard time selling them to conservatives and liberals don’t drive american brands anyway.
They will learn a lesson from this, but we will pay the bill.

I am driving a GMC right now, but that is the last one for me.
People will say GMC is no more because they went bankrupt that no one would buy their cars.
No, the reason is they robbed the people through the government. I am not going to buy something from someone who has stolen money from me. If they are willing to do that, they are willing to do just about anything.
