I sponsored a La Paz, Bolivia child with them for four years, stopping only when they decided the adult-portion of the project was built up enough for the recipients to stand on their own, and they removed the children from the program. (Had to write a goodbye letter. Heart-wrenching, but they don't let any personal addresses go past the translator to keep the pervs away from the children.)

I'd always thought that they were teaching the kids Christianity. Looks like I was wrong.
