This caller is FOS ... the AMA does not limit the number of doctors. The lousy practice environment is doing a fine job of that already. HMO’s, Govt, and Lawyers are doing a fine job driving away the best and brightest. That being said, admissions to Med School are on the rise and a new Med School is opening at Hofstra. I have issues with the AMA but they’re far from being a doctors’ union.

The defense counsel can move to suppress any confession or information given to police prior to mirandizing during evidentiary hearings. Application depends upon the state and the presiding judge.

Here in Indiana, my police officer friends usually read the Miranda warning, then if the suspect gets mouthy the officer usually gives a "HEY! I said you have the right to remain silent, so STFU!!"

BTW, if you aren't aware Ernesto Miranda was a convicted rapist. A multi-time loser with a mile long rap sheet that is an infamous criminal because of a liberal court.
