House Speaker Nancy Pelosi learned in early 2003 that the Bush administration was waterboarding terror detainees but didn’t protest directly out of respect for “appropriate” legislative channels, a person familiar with the situation said Monday.

For the last several days when listening to the news I heard that various sources insinuated that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi lied when she stated that she was not properly informed about the procedures used to extract useful information from detainees.
One of those sources was Rush Limbaugh who also insinuated that Nancy Pelosi lied, what of course greatly upset me. I strongly believe that Nancy Pelosi never, ever lied in her live as she is way too dumb to understand what she is being told and when she regurgitates something she can’t always keep the facts straight. So for the future give that poor woman a break as she has a hard enough time to keep a straight face while maligning the truth and spending as much of your money as she possible can. But rest assured she can feel your pain.

It was innappropriate to protest in 03 but now ok to protest what happened in 03? Will the dems ever do the right thing and take her leadership away? Do they enjoy being led by a buffoon?

I beg to differ. Nancy can keep a straight face because within the synthetic strucure of her reconstituted face lies a space frame, built with nano-nanotube materials proven on space shuttle missions and in high-G environmants, designed to stiffen, reinforce, and support her erstwhile sagging jowls. A loyal aide from her staff is charged with maintinaing her face, and has a remote controlled facial control panel capable of controlling her facial features to project literally any emotion at any time. Rest assured, she can be serious, solemn, focused, or mirthful at any moment, regardless of the occasion. Of course, she can also be brought into power saving mode when voting for legislation sapping the productive strength of American citizens or otherwise constricting, if not canceling their Constitutional rights. Under those circumstances, she smiles naturally.

Somehow that “principle” didn’t seem to apply when she and dingy harry were announcing BEFORE IT OCCURRED that the Iraq surge had failed and the war was lost.
