Any take on when we’ll start seeing Cheerios sold OTC?

This is a joke, right? Like the visit-from-Santa military requisition? If not, I’ll have to buy some of the dam’ things, and I **HATE** Cheerios.

When they outlaw Cheerios, only outlaws....

I guess the FDA has a 20 page regulation regarding the use of the word “crunchy”.

Do these people know how stupid they sound? If they have nothing better to do than to go after Cheerios, they need to be fired.

I can't wait for the tar and featherings to start on pencil necked idiots like the FDA flunky who wrote this letter.
And just for the record, I love Cheerios.

If it’s a bullshit claim (and let’s face it, it probably is), then it shouldn’t be on the box or in their commrecials.

Is this a joke?Under a Hussein Administration? Care to retract the question?
To: Ultra Sonic 007
I happen to like Cheerios and eat them occasionally because they taste good and their texture is pleasant. I don’t eat them for medical reasons. The FDA needs to make this a little clearer. Either eating whole grain foods is good for you, or it isn’t. Or is this yet another government power grab for a non-reason?

They can have my Cheerios when they pry them from my cold, dead cereal bowl.

They should just change the name to “Diversios” or “ShovelReadios”. They’d have nothing to worry about.

I’m glad Mr. Powell has made this asinine letter public. If you think socialized medicine is benign, think again...
