If you look closely at my post you will note that your reply was a given, not you specifically, but it was expected.

In 1956, The Peoples Temple was founded in Indianapolis as an integrated church combining evangelical, enthusiastic religion and loosely socialist politics. Jim Jones, the founder and pastor of the church, preformed healings which attracted many members. The congregation was predominately black.

Like it or not, religion was used to facilitate that massacre. Guilt by association my ass!

No, all your post consists of is a rather infantile guilt by association diatribe against religion and a direct equivalency between religion and pedophilia.

As wrong and disgustingly obtuse as those cretinous Creationists who insist that anyone who has confidence in the theory of evolution is an atheist, Communist, Nazi.

Loosely socialist my ass! It was an off-shoot of a false church that was nothing but a communist cell with the misleading "Christian" name hung on it for cover. The Disciples of Christ is a radical leftist group that has managed to fool a few real christians here and there, but they do not worship Christ, in fact they have been known to hang the "peace" symbol in their "churches." The peace symbol is nothing but an inverted, broken cross, symbolizing the defeat of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Jim Jones, the founder and pastor of the church...

was in such apostasy and rebellion against God, that Jim Jones made his followers use the Bible pages for toilet paper.

Jim Jones was recognized as a Bible-rejecting heretic long before you heard about him. He was a religious liberal who sat in judgment over the Bible, just like any liberal.

Instead of siding with the conservative Christians who were telling the truth about Jones' heresy, the liberals and other Bible-haters tried instead to use that opportunity to label the conservative Christians as being intolerant and narrow.

The liberals and pathetic anti-Christian opportunists still have rotten egg on their faces.

Bad religion is just that, no better than the nonsense spewed by any Biblically-ignorant Free Republic liberal or any other DU clone.

Only an ignorant liberal, blinded by their hatred for truth, would ever confuse him with someone who believed the Bible.
