PHOENIX (AP) - Sixty thousand people are expected to attend the National Rifle Association's annual convention that starts Friday in Phoenix.

Organizers say the 3-day event is a celebration of America's Second Amendment rights and a gathering point for opponents of efforts to limit those rights.

Friday's speakers include Sen. John McCain, Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour and Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer.

FYI: The 2nd Amendment is SELF-incorporated to all government entities at every level. It is MORE ABSOLUTE than the 1st Amendment, or any of the others, because the wording forbids not only CONGRESS, but ANYONE from infringing on it. The 1st says “Congress shall make no law...”. The 2nd say “shall NOT be infringed!” Period! End of debate!

You Romney hating bigots always state the same facts over and over again.

It doesn't matter if they are true, because since he is handsome whatever Mitt says is conservative.

And because he is LDS you should not question his conviction to Conservatism, regardless of the fact that it should be questioned given his actions and words. All of that is irrelevant for the only reason you are against him is not because he truly is weak in many areas that are important to conservatives but that his is LDS and you are all Mormon hating bigots...

Personally I’m kind of pissed about this. The damned convention is today. How am I supposed to let enough tomatoes rot, book my flight, get to the hotel, and all that and still have enough time to pass out the tomatoes?
