Algore “waited” 2 years (if true) primarily because he went off the deep end after LO-HOO-SING the presidential election in 2000 - I saw the 60 mins interview - sounds like the guy wsa Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs for a long time.

That's because the Bush white house didn't use its "bully pulpit" to criticize you or your Bubba in chief. Dork.

When zer0 and all the king's horses criticize Cheny and Bush every other breath then yeah, you will face the 10 ways Dick Cheney can kill you...

LOL...he then emerged with a unkempt beard and a spare tire spewing forth lies about the apocolypse.

Exactly right. This was pointed out in a Time Magazine article at the time (8/16/2001) in which Chrissy Matthews was quoted to say the whiskered Gore looks "like a Bolshevik labor organizer."

And wasnt that 2 years when he gained all the weight, grew a beard, etc??? He LOST HIS DAMN REMAINING MIND that 2 years. He wasnt being gracious.

The Ahole.

Besides, dems taught us that unwritten rules, customs, and gentlemens agreements mean nothing. Its a bitch to get back just what you give out, huh? Our nation is at risk of slipping into an abyss that can only be resolved by force of arms, if not stopped very soon by legal process.
We do not have AlGores 2 years to wait to stop Obama politically. Speak Cheney!

Also,,,when was the old deal that at the 2 year mark, the former presidents started attacking the winner publically?
Did Johnson ever criticize Nixon? Did Ike ever go after JFK? Did Truman ever go after IKE? Did Ford go after Nixon? Did Bush1 ever go after Clinton?

The tradition is that ex-presidents quietly advised, neve publically tried to gin up resistance and roadblocks. AlGore is a low-life spoiled rich kid.

Of course it took two years for the horror of 9/11 to subside enough for Democrats and other cowards to risk calling the president a traitor.

The difference, Gore, is that Cheney was RESPONDING TO direct criticisms of Bush/Cheney policy, in recent weeks.

Gore, on the other hand, was not responding to criticisms of his administration’s policies. He just thought it’d be fun to act like Jimmy Carter.

Which is where Gore is headed: The dustbin of history, in Carter’s quadrant.

He was running around the country talking to anyone about he had more votes than Bush.

Of course absentee ballots were NOT COUNTED in States that Bush won incontestably, so Gore did not in fact win more votes.

The man is pathetic, and his son is more aware of it than anyone. At the moment his dad reappears in the limelight, he goes off getting speeding tickets and doing his best to embarrass old Dad (the same Dad who was polishing his apple in the ‘88 election at his son's bedside while the son was recovering from a severely bad injury from getting hit by a car coming out of the Baltimore ballbark with his Dad). I feel sorry for his son. No matter how weak he is, he deserves better from his dad.

“...Despite the criticism, Gore claimed he does not “want to get dragged into an argument with Dick Cheney about what he’s getting into.”...”

AlBore doesn’t want to get into an argument because he knows he would lose.

Dems are saying Cheney’s an A-hole for speaking out, so when Gore says that, then he’s saying “I waited two years to be an A-hole”: A=B and B=C, therefore A=C.

And I bet he’s snippy about it, too.

I waited two years after I left office to make statements that were critical

So, what were all those campaign statements you made begining 2 years BEFORE you left office, Al. Really...NONE of them were critical against the possibility of an incoming Pubbie administration?
