Is that really true? I have a VERY low opinion of CGS. Please provide a cite.

As I mentioned, if one were successful, the GS program morphs (or at the time morphed) into an honest-to-god Columbia BA Degree issued by Columbia College. This has been adequately documented here and on the web.
So, BHO, Jr. ain't lieing. He has a genuine Columbia BA Degree in God knows what. But since he did the work at GS, apparently none of the regular Columbia fellows had the thrill of getting to know him during his very mysterious underground 2-year sojourn in NYC.
Also, Percy Sutton claims he arranged his entry into Harvard Law, writing a glowing reference at the behest of Mr. Mansour, of Chicago Islam fame. Altogether an unlikely academic career, but the outline at least, is documented.
I took a math course at GS I needed due to a scheduling problem at my much smaller school. It was on the up-and-up, although boring as hell.
