Good advice, thanks. It is actually pretty sweat stained, I have thought about having it cleaned, not sure if I should. But bagging it is a good call; it is brim up, wouldn’t want to lose any good luck you know.
I wouln’t clean it. That’s Grandpa’s sweat there, and it’s just like the last time he took it off.
There’s a practical reason for storing brim-up. Over time you would find the weight of the crown will distort the brim, making re-shaping necessary (if it was a wearing hat).
