Well, basically, the Constitution is the trump legally and all legislation has to be Constitutional or it will be open to legal challenge. Before the congress passes this, it should be sent around to the lawyers for various agencies and comment sought— I used to have a job where I looked at proposed statutes to see if they conflicted with statutes already on the books, caused unforeseen problems by clumsy drafting,etc or were in conflict with the Constitution, —anyway, you can’t change the Constitution of the US by federal statute, it will never work. You’d have to do it by an Amendment. This thing will never pass muster.
Obama knows it will never pass muster and his lawyers have proven it. Obama studied the constitution in order to manipulate it in a perfect storm.
If he’s ineligible than this law can’t be legally passed so it can’t be used to protect him. Even if Biden, to whom the presidency would fall if Ø were disqualified, were to co-sign it it still wouldn’t protect him because Ø wouldn’t be an executive branch employee. Rather he would be guilty of defrauding the government $129k, to date, in pro-rated salary to start a long litany of charges. Signing this could be another charge as part of the cover-up.
Really? Doofus GW Bush signed off on the McCain-Feingold campaign (un)reform act of 2002, even though he admitted that it was probably unconstitutional and therefore would be declared to be unconstitutional by the SC. Guess what? The SC ruled in favor of it and now there are stringent laws in place that prohibit ads within 60 days of the election from identifying candidates (especially incumbants) from being identified as pro-abortion or pro gun control, etc.
