Powell is correct. If the party has no foundational truths, then anyone with any set of beliefs fits right in.
To be a RINO you need to be a Republican. When you endorse, fight for the Democrat nominee for President because of his skin color, you are not a Republican. You are a simple racist and have no place in the Republican Party

I’m tired of the Powell-types thinking that THEY have the right to decide where Republicans go and that Staunch Conservatives are somehow “extremists” who should sit down and shut up.
If Chairman Steele doesn’t get busy setting up five or eight agenda points that are set in stone and have Republicans in Congress sign on the dotted line to be considered a Republican, the TEA/Independent Party will become the dominant Constitution Defending Traditional Conservative Party.

Hey Colin. You can call yourself anything you want and I’m sure the press will eat it up. That does not mean real republicans and conservatives will take you seriously. You’re not an active duty general anymore so don’t expect automatic respect or adulation. Many of us who were career military don’t consider you to be the hero of the Gulf War; you were the chief admin clerk, not the guy at the front.
