I’d have been more impressed if they’d ‘taken in’ The Norman Conquests’, by probably the greatest dramatist in the English-speaking world, Alan Ayckbourn, but it’s not PC enough, when “Joe Turner” is also on Broadway.
Hope they enjoyed “dinner and a show” , of course, courtesy of US!
I wouldn’t have expected anything more or less of “the ‘Bamas”.
I look forward to Barry’s ‘review’ of the play, since it’s about a man “coming to terms with slavery?”, ....was that it?
