A “positive law” would say:

Abortions are legal in all cases but these: 1.) 2.) 3.)

A NEGATIVE law would say, “Abortions in these cases are ILLIEGAL except for 2.) 2.) 3.)

If “positive” does not mean anything, why use the word?

Again, you need a course in logic and English, as well as law and theology.

Nope, you can not make a stupid statement, support it with irrelevant BOLD TYPE posts, and then ask me not to respond.

FR does not work that way.

I have made my points, however, and you have not refuted any of them, so I do agree that we are done.

I guess you will need to grab a law manual and figure out the difference between a positive law and a negative law. (btw..some can be both):

"Positive laws are those laws which permit or oblige action, whereas negative laws are those which permit or oblige inaction. These permissions or obligations may be of either a legal or moral character. Likewise, the notion of positive and negative rights may be applied to either liberty rights or claim rights, either permitting one to act or refrain from acting, or obliging others to act or refrain from acting."
