Not any more - Calypso Louie sort of reconciled them, although there are still a lot of freelance offshoots (like the nutbags in NYC who dress up in what they believe are “Ethiopian” clothes and scream anti-Semitic slogans on 34th Street). Many of the jailhouse converts pass through these things and then belong to a bigger mosque when they get out. This guy, Bledsoe, actually studied in Yemen and recently got back from there.
I must say, however, that those Bean Pies are mighty tasty, and that The Final Call is almost as trustworthy as Wing Nut Daily and a hell of a lot more trustworthy than the New York Times.
