NEWT RECANTS 'RACISM' Michelle Obama was dispatched to defend Sonia Sotomayor, part of a broad offensive to humanize the judge....she compared the judge's humble beginnings and high achievement to the paths taken by her husband and herself. Sotomayor grew up in a Bronx housing project and went on to Princeton and Yale "still looks over her shoulder and wonders if she measures up," Obama said.....a subtle counter to Republicans' concerns whether her personal biases would interfere with judicial decisions. Gingrich told supporters he shouldn't have called Sotomayor a racist.....but her 2001 speech that the rulings of a "wise Latina" would be better than those of a white male, was still unacceptable.

In February 2004, US Senate candidate Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, sent a fund-raising letter with the "alarming news" that "right-wing politicians" had passed a law (prohibiting doctors from stabbing half-born babies in the neck with scissors, suctioning out their brains and crushing their skulls). Michelle Obama called partial-birth abortion "a legitimate medical procedure. " She urged supporters to pay $150 to attend a fund-raising luncheon for her husband, who she promised would fight against "cynical ploy[s]" to stop it. BACKGROUND Legislation was presented on the federal level and in various states called the Born Alive Infants Protection Act. It stated all live-born babies were guaranteed the same constitutional right to equal protection, whether or not they were wanted. BAIPA sailed through the U.S. Senate by unanimous vote. Even Sens. Clinton, Kennedy and Kerry agreed a mother's right to "choose" stopped at her baby's delivery. The bill also passed overwhelmingly in the House. NARAL went neutral on it. Abortion enthusiasts publicly agreed that fighting BAIPA would appear extreme. President Bush signed BAIPA into law in 2002. But in Illinois, the state version of BAIPA repeatedly failed, thanks in large part to then-state Sen. Barack Obama. Obama worried aloud that legislation protecting live aborted babies might infringe on women's rights or abortionists' rights. In 2003, as chairman of the next Senate committee to which BAIPA was sent, Obama stopped it from even getting a hearing, shelving it to die much like babies were still being shelved to die in Illinois hospitals and abortion clinics. BAIPA passed in 2005.........after Obama left.

we are witnessing a very sharp piece of triangulation from Rush Limbaugh on this. By indicating that he could support her IF she turns out to be pro-life, he has raised the hackles of the far-left nutroots, who will likely turn on her with a vengeance. (to a degree it is already happening due to her being the court’s 6th. Catholic). Either they will take the nomination down, OR she will be forced to make a very forceful and unambiguous pro-choice statement, which will energize Conservatives. Brilliant job by El Rushbo to flush her out of the tall grass.

One harsh assessment of Sotomayor criticized her ideology, her judicial temperament and her fiery temper. “There's a character problem. There's a temperament problem that. She is more of an advocate than an impartial decider of the law." With such lingering questions about Sotomayor's record, Sen Lindsay Graham (R-SC) said he probably would not vote for her.

COMMENTS She is completely absent the necessary judicial temperament---the valuable "judicial gravitas." CBS Evening News pointed that up ...as well as her Achilles heel.......her preoccupation with latinoism.

REFERENCE CBS Evening News caught her offguard---sitting at the side of a Sen (Leahy?). She had clearly been coached------ CBS (bless 'em) explicitly pointed out that she and the Senators were mouthing the same language. Someone off-camera asked her if she was racist. Her visage quickly changed from a smiling senorita to that of a raging bull. CBS kept the camera trained on her. She was furious that gringos were not "respecting" her. Her lips actually moved but no sound came out.... Katie Couric's voice-over clearly noted that, as well.

She is an advocate obsessed with redressing latino grievances from the bench. We are in danger of losing our rule of law, our distinctive American culture, and our very identities as Americans. Americans will lose our freedoms as payback for all those Frito Bandito commercials.

We need to see her emails and phone records to determine who controls her and whether she has contacts with foreign governments.

I heard an audio interview with HolyO about this subject, and when he called those living babies ‘previable fetuses’ I knew he was demon possessed and had no right to be in the White House since he didn’t believe that these little Americans had rights as well. >:-(

Wonder how many babies he and Michelle aborted during their careers before they decided to keep those two girls probably only for appearances’ sakes??? >:-(

She will swear to follow the Constitution until confirmed but like BO she will be lying.

Her humble beginnings do not entitle her to a seat on the Supreme Court.

Clarence Thomas came from much humbler beginnings. He never used those beginnings to further his rise to his present position of a seat on the Supreme Court.

Rush is brilliant, and he is going to force their hand on this! If she says she is pro-life because of her religious faith, Rush can point out that yes, Roe v. Wade can finally be overturned because it is bad law, and send this back to the states where the VOTERS can decide what they want to do about it, as it should be! Of course PP and Naral will have a cow--but in this freedom of information age, I'd like to see more details of exactly what happens during PBB go out to the country ad nauseum so that people realize it for the lie it is! And by all means use this info on MOBO to promote it! "Previable fetuses" should be the word of the day in HolyO's own voiceover, while showing actual pictures to the American public...time to stop grossing out and being delicate and forcing people to face the facts!!
