We must recognize that 0 is aware of the entire scripture. By quoting that particular passage he fully intends to express the full meaning of the scripture.
Death to the infidels is its mandate. Killing one infidel is tantamount to killing all. Similarly, saving the life of an infidel is the same as failing to kill all infidels.
As a man who was brought up under the tutelage of the Koran we can expect that his scriptural choices are fully intentional. It is inconceivable that he intended to support Israel or the US with these words.

I dont find it odd at all, it is just words. He doesnt believe half of what he says, he just reads it from the teleprompter.
I wonder sometimes if he a) writes the speeches himself (/s) or b) even reads the speeches before he takes the stage. You can tell that when there is a blink in the teleprompter, he has no idea where to take the speech. I don't think he has any clue on what he is going to say until it is flashed on the teleprompter.
