I greatly fear that JasonC was dropped on his head in infancy and is now working in the basement of the Whitehouse. That’s the ONLY explanation for his ravings. Either that or it’s bad drugs. Either way, Obambi isn’t paying him enough.

Once mob rule takes over, any sort of brutality is possible -- and even legally sanctioned.

Sometimes, it's mandatory.

“attacking something utterly normal that everyone rightly supports.”

Everyone doesn’t rightly support democracy. Many of us prefer the constitutional representative republic that our forefathers bequeathed us.

“it means you are stupid.”

Oh, bad form, Jason. Bad form.

There was neve any doubt on your part, my friend. I find it so amusing to hear people prattling about “the next election” or the 2012 elections. Ain’t gonna be any

That presupposes facts, conditions and situations that no longer exist.

I understand what you’re saying and I don’t disagree with it. But the youth of this country is spoiled rotten. Once their standard of living starts to decline they will get impatient, and they won’t buy into the “things will get better in 5 years if we just stick with socialism”. The kids on college campus’ bought into the snake oil-but when they start to get crushed under the burden of not being able to repay student loans for educations that are worthless, having to drive the little crap boxes they are going to be forced into and not being able to afford “luxuries” there will be a lot of discontent. Once the economy is unable to dig itself out of the hole that the left is putting this country in, the spoiled rotten youth of this country we realize that “hey that capitalism thing wasn’t so bad after all”.

It was Democratic, regardless of the politician’s label, rules making for the banks that led to the banking crisis to begin with.

The politicians, that we elected, using their collective and democratic brute force required the banks to make dodgy loan. The polticians, that we elected, refused to regulate Fannie and Freddie when there were clear warnings signs of trouble, because the loot was just too good. The politicians were then more than willing to listen to those who argued against regulating the derivatives market, and against common sense, again because the loot was too good.

The bailout was largely required due to poor governance.

No, from the perspective of capital he is right. The capital system is a necessity, and has been mismanaged by political degree for quite some time.

The problem lies in the central argument of this article, that it is wrong to use government force to remove capital from one to give it to another. The force is just as misapplied when the government forces the banks, and any other taxpayer, to give money to those who are able to work but don’t.

It’s also wrong to force banks into making bad loans.

Bear in mind that the youth of this nation are doing such interesting things as joining the armed forces in droves and similar things. They are NOT a “lost generation” such as your post would portray them.

The youth joining the miliatary are the exception, not the rule.

And to a great degree it’s the result of having been sucked into house/car/creditcard debt. When those monthly payments are REQUIRED every month, you don’t have the option to not work. It’s so seductive, it’s so “normal”, that few can really resist it. The system depends on practically everyone living the in-debt lifestyle - hence the push to issue bad loans, which we now pay the consequence of by our system’s leaders trying to keep the overblown system in place instead of letting it correct itself.

If one or more states would pass sovereignty legislation, you'd have your Galt's Gulch.

OK has already passed it, and has done a bunch of other things telling the left to go pound sand. Texas will follow when they reconvene. Montana a Tennessee have passed gun laws saying that the feds have no jurisdiction on firearms within those states.

The movement is on. And the rebuild will occur from these first steps.

There may not be a central secret valley for Galters to migrate to, but those who can ARE relocating to more affordable economic climates. The big example is Rush leaving NYC permanently. There are many news stories of those with big money similarly pulling out, moving to low-tax states and otherwise diminishing their tax liabilities by assorted means. Even li’l ol’ me moved out of NY to GA, where property taxes are 1/6th and the 2nd Amendment is [almost] fully honored, my family cut our income in half (thus cutting tax payments in half), and having realized we actually do own darn near everything we want we’re not buying nearly as much.

It’s not a perfect rendition of Galt’s Gulch, but the result is comparable. Cutting the looter’s take by X0% will eventually have the same result as cutting it 100% (esp. when BHO et al are spending trillions we don’t have anyway).

"Legally sanctioned and protected, RACE BASED brutality. We’re seeing the beginnings of it already. Crimes by black muslims are being downplayed, dismissed, and/or pardoned."

At it's core, "race" has nothing to do with it except as a device to to divide us. This is, was and always has been about "culture", not "color".

What some Blacks could not do as African-American Christians, they are being enabled to do & get away with as "Black Muslims".

What white immigrants could not usually demand as immigrants, they are being favored with as Muslim immigrants.

It seems that these days we only respect the aggressive and those who commit violence against us. Law-abiding people get no notice or respect.
