10. Bar and Court Admission:
a. List the date(s) you took the examination, the date you passed, and the date you were admitted to the bar of any state for all states where you sat for a bar examination. List any state in which you applied for reciprocal admission without taking the bar examination and the date of such admission or refusal of such admission. List and explain the reason for any lapses in membership.
I took and passed the New York State bar exam during the summer of 1979, and I was admitted on April 7, 1980. I did not apply for reciprocal admission to any other state. Since my confirmation as a district court judge on October 2, 1992, I have been in retired/judicial status.
b. List all courts in which you have been admitted to practice, including dates of admission and any lapses in membership. Explain the reason for any lapse in membership. Give the same information for administrative bodies that require special admission to practice.
United States District Court, Eastern District of New York: admitted on March 30, 1984. United States District Court,
Southern District of New York: admitted on March 27, 1984.
New York - First Department: admitted on April 7, 1980.
What? She’s not admitted to practice in front of the US Supreme Court? She’s not even admitted to practice in front of the court she’s applying for appointment to?
Would like someone to post the form as it appeared when Roberts and Alito had to send it in to Leahy ...
How in the dickens did she get six boxes of docs prepared and delivered so fast in relation to this questionnaire? Boy! I would say she’s quite the organized person. That ought to count for something - confirm her based on punctuality?
What more does anyone need to know to justify a vote against her nomination?
The democrats have already determined that the Republicans are feckless to expose the racism of LaRaza, so that little aspect of this bigot’s character will not be anything but a manipulation point for democrats if Republicans raise the issue ... the Hispanic community will be herded just the way Democrats have herded blacks for five deacdes plus. ... Democrats do not consider LaRaza a racist pack of rabid dogs. La Raza is a ‘pressure point’ which democrats expect to exploit for distraction and to paint Republicans as against all Hispanics. The enemedia has no doubt already been brief on how to express the dismay at Republicans rejecting an Hispanic just because she participated in an Hispanic ‘club’.
Don't know if that means anything.
