BO’s really not connected to American history or the fight for freedom.

&&&&

Neither is his chief speechwriter, 27 yr old Ivy League educated leftist. From the Washington Post last fall:

During the campaign, the buzz-cut 27-year-old at the corner table helped write and edit some of the most memorable speeches of any recent presidential candidate. When Obama moves to the White House next month, Favreau will join his staff as the youngest person ever to be selected as chief speechwriter. He helps shape almost every word Obama says, yet the two men have formed a concert so harmonized that Favreau’s own voice disappears.

“He looks like he’s in college and everybody calls him Favs, so you’re like, ‘This guy can’t be for real, right?’ “ said Ben Rhodes, another Obama speechwriter. “But it doesn’t take long to realize that he’s totally synced up with Obama. . . . He has access to everything and everybody. There’s a lot weighing on his shoulders.”

CRBDeuce, I apologize to Cliff and company for even comparing this to a reduced version of Cliff’s Notes.

A serious high school student could have written better and certainly with more feeling.

He has NO idea what WWII was about. None.

and he has now demonstrated this fact to the world. I didn't hear him utter the words "greatest generation" either, did you? Obama firmly believes he is the greatest.

“Change the course of a century?”

Hell, it changed the future. It is *more* than a century.

****

No, I think Obama is right on this point. We defeated Fascism in 1945. In 2009, Obama took office and immediately started to revive it. So, while D-Day changed the course of the 20th Century, Obama undoing that victory as quickly as he can in the 21st. See “Vampire Economy” by Gunter Reiman, 1939.

How can this be?

Sarkozy is of Hungarian background. He understands the evil of totalitarianism and the value of the American will to eradicate the Soviet control of other countries.

“Obama says remember the Russians.”

They weren’t at Normandy were they? What a jerkoff. It’s like a code to his “base” to honor communism.

“Obama says remember the Russians.”

The only Ally that used the war to enslave Eastern Europe. The other Allies fought the war and went home.

It sure wasn’t “The Boys of Pointe du Hoc” was it? I wonder how Peggy Noonan felt as she listened to her new hero desecrate the occaision which Ronald Reagan had hallowed with his words, written by Noonan, and which the Allies had forever sanctified with their courage 65 years ago.

(LATimes)

Obama speechwriter photographed groping Hillary Clinton likeness

It might have seemed funny during the party. But a photo has surfaced in recent hours of President-elect Barack Obama’s newly-designated chief speechwriter, Jon Favreau, groping a cardboard cutout of the administration’s newly-designated secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.

That’s Favreau on the left in the above photo (the fellow in the Obama staff T-shirt pouring beer in the pretend politician’s mouth is unidentified). The photo was first published on the Washington Post’s 44 blog.

The shot of the 27-year-old writer with his hand on the 60-year-old cardboard senator’s breast reportedly appeared for about two hours on a Facebook page Thursday afternoon before disappearing, along with numerous other Favreau pictures, including one of him dancing with the cardboard female secretary-designate.
