"Because I speak in civil tones, some want to try to label me a moderate," she said. "My voting record is one of the most conservative in the U.S. Senate. ... We can't expect to remain the majority party in Texas if we drive out voters that support Republican principles but might not agree on every single issue."

When runnning for Senate the first time, Kay Bailey Hutchison told me on a call-in show that she didn’t need pro-life votes. She has been right, since I’ve never voted for her, and she has been re-elected several times.

I do not intent to defend a position you chose to put me in. What I will tell you is that if you only want people who agree with you 100% of the time you won't win many elections. OH that's what we have now, never mind, they're all RINO’s.

" "My voting record is one of the most conservative in the U.S. Senate..."IS that so?
How many "conservatives" besides you, Kay Barely, voted FOR McCain-Feingold???
And do you *really* think a "76" rating is high???
Freakin' nincompoop!

I do not intent to defend a position you chose to put me in. You put yourself there. You blew off Hutchison's support for destroying babies at the embryonic stage just like she does, and just like NRTL does, as if it's nothing.
If you can't defend your position, don't type.
And don't claim that I think people have to agree with me 100% on everything. They don't. But there are non-negotiables, wouldn't you say? Or don't you have any of those?

I would say I can live with someone who is for stem cell research on embryos that were not created specifically to be used in research. KBH is the best we can do until someone more conservative stands up to run against her.
I hope she runs for Governor. She will beat Perry, be in a place where her thinking will do less harm, Perry will be out and PERHAPS we will get someone more conservative to replace her.
I see you are from Iowa. KBH is our least conservative Senator in Texas, go work on yours.

So, if you don’t value this particular class of little persons, away with them.
You’re not pro-life either.
Either all persons are protected, or none will be, sooner or later.
If the right to life is subject to your whims, it is subject to any man’s whims.

Let me know when you win an election. I agree with you 99.2% and I’m not pro life enough for you? You are a fool and a waste of time to talk politics with.

God’s your Judge, not me.
But I was told that you would know trees by their fruit.
The fruit of compromise on the unalienable rights of all is fifty million dead babies.
Explain it to Him.
