Obama at Columbia-- the unexceptional student no one remembers
wnd ^

Posted on 06/09/2009 7:26:35 PM PDT by cycle of discernment

Obama transferred from Occidental College to Columbia University in 1981.

According to the New York Times, Obama "suggests in his book that his years in New York were a pivotal period: He ran three miles a day, buckled down to work and 'stopped getting high,' which he says he had started doing in high school.

Yet he declined repeated requests to talk about his New York years, release his Columbia transcript or identify even a single fellow student, co-worker, roommate or friend from those years."

Campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt told the newspaper in October 2007, "He doesn’t remember the names of a lot of people in his life."

Obama claimed to be a part of the Black Student Organization and anti-apartheid activities. But according to the New York Times, several well-known student leaders did not recall his involvement.

Fox News made contact with 400 of Obama's classmates. No one remembered him.

The Columbia University chapter in Obama's life remains blank, according to the New York Sun.

"The Obama campaign has refused to release his college transcript, despite an academic career that led him to Harvard Law School and, later, to a lecturing position at the University of Chicago," the Sun reported in September 2008.

"The shroud surrounding his experience at Columbia contrasts with that of other major party nominees since 2000, all whom have eventually released information about their college performance or seen it leaked to the public."

According to the New York Sun, a program from Columbia's 1983 commencement ceremony lists Obama as a graduate. University spokesman Brian Connolly confirmed that Obama graduated with a major in political science but without honors. Nonetheless, he was later admitted to Harvard Law School.

And who are the people who have been TAKING these pictures of 0?

Certainly they would remember him?

‘I knew Obama back when...’

Who are the people putting these pics up?

______________
I have no idea who took them. Maybe the girly looking little white guy took the one on the couch. The pictures are available on google and all over the internet. The New York Times published the one of him on the couch, but they cropped the Paki guy out. LOL

I’ve seen that before. It seems to me they are desperately trying to fill in the pieces of the puzzle. they failed. Some of those things have since been proven to be impossible and false.

Even funnier have been journalists writing puff pieces about Obama and his early years and they do their research and learn “oh he went to school in Indonesia” and came back to hawaii for school.

They don’t read that while in Indonesia he became a citizen and adopted and they don’t bother to check when he comes back to the states he’s using an entirely different name. But we learn from them...

Keep the reports coming, we’re down to two possible hospital in Hawaii now....come on, which one is it? lol

I found these tonight. These are from the Egypt trip. In the first one they are waiting outside the embassy I believe, waiting to board AF1. Notice Reggie Love's flip flops. The same flip flops he had on when they got back to DC and stepped off Marine 1. Such a nice touch. Also are so called President all sprawled out on the steps looking like some lost little boy(which he is). The next one is Mr. I'm so cool wearing a hat someone gave him during the trip. What in the world is with these peoples' faces? Both of them look as if someone built them from the chin up and loaded the bottom with cement or something.

they look too close (more than friendly) to me in that picture.

when i was in college, and engaged, my fiance and his friends would never sit right next to each other at the movies. always skipped a seat, or if i went along, i was in the middle.

i am the same age as barack. guys back then, at least in my crowd here in phx, didn’t sit that close unless they had to.

i only see one hand in the middle, holding a ciggy.

i had to show my daughter’s BC twice at her new school: once for registration and once for the cheer squad.

only in American can you be president without showing your BC, but you can’t be on the cheer squad without it.
