Obama transferred from Occidental College to Columbia University in 1981.

According to the New York Times, Obama "suggests in his book that his years in New York were a pivotal period: He ran three miles a day, buckled down to work and 'stopped getting high,' which he says he had started doing in high school.

Yet he declined repeated requests to talk about his New York years, release his Columbia transcript or identify even a single fellow student, co-worker, roommate or friend from those years."

Campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt told the newspaper in October 2007, "He doesn’t remember the names of a lot of people in his life."

Obama claimed to be a part of the Black Student Organization and anti-apartheid activities. But according to the New York Times, several well-known student leaders did not recall his involvement.

Fox News made contact with 400 of Obama's classmates. No one remembered him.

The Columbia University chapter in Obama's life remains blank, according to the New York Sun.

"The Obama campaign has refused to release his college transcript, despite an academic career that led him to Harvard Law School and, later, to a lecturing position at the University of Chicago," the Sun reported in September 2008.

"The shroud surrounding his experience at Columbia contrasts with that of other major party nominees since 2000, all whom have eventually released information about their college performance or seen it leaked to the public."

According to the New York Sun, a program from Columbia's 1983 commencement ceremony lists Obama as a graduate. University spokesman Brian Connolly confirmed that Obama graduated with a major in political science but without honors. Nonetheless, he was later admitted to Harvard Law School.

I don’t think anyone is saying Obama didn’t attend Columbia, just that it’s odd that “no one” remembers him, and there’s no picture of him in the yearbook.

Columbia is the only school Obama attended that didn’t honor his coup d’état. Why not?

The following comes close to saying as much, but stops short of specific accusation, allowing the reader to draw the conclusion:

The way Axelrod dealt with the relationship between Ayers and Obowma is quite revealing ... and Barry was an integral part of the layering of lies, not some innocent bystander whose political handler was 'out of control'.

And most in the media cooperated fully in the deceits. The classic example was Mara Liasson on Hume's daily program repeating right before the November election that 'maybe Ayers and Obama met because their kids attended the same school.'

I will not believe Mara is that stupid that two deacdes difference in ages would be unnoticed by her! She was lying for her leftist messiah.

If one takes any issue, from Rev Wright to Bill Ayers, to the life in Indonesia, the obvious methodology of the Obama campaign was to layer on the lies, altering the responses depending upon what someone had uncovered to challenge the privious lies. This lying affirmative action figure democrat fraud-in-chief will be the death of the Constitutional Republic ... and the DNC and fifth column enemedia are his eager allies.

I doubt that anyone at Furman University could remember me from my 4 years there. I lived off campus and worked; what little social life I had did not revolve around the University or my fellow students.

I’m not saying there isn’t a bunch of stuff fishy about Obama, but his classmates not remembering him isn’t part of it.

Yes. I think the only people who would remember me from my undergraduate years at Harvard would probably be a few professors (now dead), my three roommates (two of them now dead), and a few officers of the Harvard Catholic Club, a couple of whom I stayed in touch with for some time afterward.

But what that says, perhaps, is that I’ll bet there were a few people there at Columbia who shared Obama’s main interests outside of the classroom. For him it was not the Catholic club, but Communist activism.

In other words, I’m sure Ayres remembers him, and a few others in that circle. Maybe Brzezinski.

So noone remembers Obama? He himself says he sought out the radicals and the Marxist professors. So he hung out with the likes of Ayers who are all going to say "didn't know him" then or now. So, A Manchurian Candidate in the White House? Who is his "control"? Ayers? I hope something comes of the continued Citizenship, "natural born citizen" issue. Obama's lawyers are fighting to keep his birth certificate from being seen by the American people. We know this because their responses to lawsuits to show the birth certificate are public record and they are refusing to show it. They are not saying, "no problem, here it is" but "Our client does not want his birth certificate disclosed because it would cause serious embarrassment."? Well, excuuuse us! To me it's pretty obvious Obama is hiding something. It just boils down to What is he hiding and Why? Everyone instinctively knows that nobody really knows who this President is; nobody can point to any physical evidence that is without question to verify who this man is. The real issue, then, becomes whether one is comfortable with the situation where America has elected its first unknown and unvetted President.

Suggests that he may have been enrolled but never attended classes and the diploma was issued at the request of someone. This happens. Some people get college degrees without ever setting foot on campus or doing any of the work. IF the powerful want you to have a degree.... you get a degree. I'll bet he was seldom on campus and the degree is unearned.

True. But.. there are thousands of people who remembered attending school with Richard Nixon. He was a bit odd back then too but folks remembered him. Obama never attended classes Columbia, he was given a degree to posture him for a slam dunk admission into Harvard, the seminary that has grown WAY too big for its britches... Its all affirmative action crapola and we are now paying the price by having a POTUS who is so seriously unqualified it makes one's head spin.

Good point. It’s pretty obvious he wouldn’t be able to go through the usual Top Secret security clearance process.
I hope our politicians create a law/laws that a Presidential Candidate has to: a. Have to show the Long Form Birth Certificate and b. Have to go through, whatever the Highest Security Clearance is, have to go through the usual FBI clearance process, interviews, past associates, etc, that many of us had to go through in the Armed Forces. If nothing else, each State Legislature can pass laws demanding such before a Presidential candidate is placed on said state’s ballot. This should never happen again in Our America, the greatest Nation on earth.
