Folks, instead of complaining and whining we need to rise up and stop this...
I mean, our President smokes. There are pictures of him doing all over the place, and he is SUPPOSED to set the EXAMPLE for good health to his nation. After all, we pay for him to have the best doctors at his disposal.
Maybe uhbama should CLEAN UP HIS OWN SELF before he starts demanding that the fatties clean up their act.

You get a card with your allotted calorie count on it.
Whenever you eat, you have to swipe your card deducting your calories for the month. Once you’re out, you can’t eat any more, unless you “purchase” more calories by exercising.
All liberals should be forced to work for any gov't agency for two years. Maybe then they'd sober up.

The one good thing I read in the article said that they are going to remove junk food from welfare. I, for one, am tired of standing behind a 400 pound woman in the grocery store line who pays for her potato chips and orange sodas with my money. Just sayin....

Obesity is a greater public health hazard than smoking. 30% of the population is obese. Not just overweight but FAT! Obesity adds $15,000-20,000 to the average lifetime healthcare cost. It triples the incidence of cancer, doubles the risk of diabetes, and significantly increases the risk of arthritis, high blood pressure, and coronary disease.
It’s your business, if you overeat and under exercise, but when it starts to cost me money in the form of higher insurance premiums or taxes, it then becomes MY business.
I’m all in favor of these initiatives.

Could definitely see this. We had gym several times a week - now it's only once with about 10 minutes of recess and when the weather is cold, which is half the time in the winter in most states, students stay in the classroom during recess time.
What ever happened to the President's Physical Fitness Test instituted by JFK? We had that darn thing every year and it was a great motivator.
As far as walking and biking paths, people don't use the ones we already have, why make more?
