Former music producer Phil Spector has been forced to pose for a prison photo - without his wig.
The 69-year-old, who was jailed for 19 years for the murder of Lana Clarkson, had to leave off his famous bouffant-style wig for the prison mugshot photo.
He was photographed after arriving at the North Kern State prison in Delano, California, where he is being processed before being sent to jail.

Spector became famous at his murder trials in Los Angeles for a series of increasingly outrageous wigs.
His hair always seemed carefully coiffed which added to his bizarre, gaunt look as he stood trial.
The latest prison photo reveals the few last wisps of natural dark hair on the legendary producer's head.
He also looks haggard in the photo which will remain on his file until his release.

Yeah i watched it on DVD and could not get into it.
I know what you are talking about,i had older friends who would bring toast and water pistols to see the movie,but alas i was to young.

I worked with Spector in the early 60's in New York City when he was a talented tyrant in the studio. At that time his assistant was a nobody named Sonny Bono who he treated worse than crap. Even in those days he had a habit of waving a pistol around and scaring the snot out of everybody who were afraid he would kill someone. Little known fact: I actually went out with his first wife Ronnie (Veronica) before he met her, when she was an unknown Go-Go dancer at a NYC nightclub.
Burned out drug addict.
Made some great music back in the day (so what?), but he became a total waste of skin.

I saw her perform a while ago with Eddie Money.
Eddie was washed up, to be polite about it.
Ronnie looked a bit heavy for her dress, but she was still ronnie. :)
They were the bad girls of the scene back then weren't they?
