I am in shock that K2 Productions and the Miss California USA Pageant have taken the steps to fire Carrie Prejean today. The claim that she has an unauthorized book contract is false. She does not. The claim that she is refusing to appear is false. Carrie has been in constant contact with pageant officials seeking to fulfill her obligations. I have emails in my possession tied to the pageant organization as recently as last Friday citing future appearance requests for Carrie. She represented the Pageant in Las Vegas the weekend before last, and is scheduled to appear at a Special Olympics event this weekend in California, a cause dear to her heart. Everyone has been pleased with her appearances and excited to see her.
If you need any further evidence of who is in bad faith: A radio host, Billy Bush says he is the person who informed Carrie she was fired. What kind of employer alerts the media before they speak to their employee?

Wonder where he is on the radio now? this is W's nephew. he was on 99.5 in DC and was let go during the recount fiasco in 2000.
My guess is that it was cheaper to fire her than it was to pay for bodyguards for her.

Carrie should file a multi-million dollar lawsuits against the California Miss USA Organization, get a good publicist, and request the ACLU represent her because her civil rights are being violated.
If the ACLU fails to represent her, she should file a suit against them.
The quickest way to shut these people up is to force them to spend their own money.
Trump and the pagent people are toast. IMHO canning her is akin to firing someone at a large company-you have to build a long and excruciating painful paper trail, over a period of time before you can fire someone. And unless they have records of notifying and warning her that she was violating their contract and in danger of losing her title, she will take them to the cleaners (yeah!).
I really dislike Trump-he is unethical (repeatedly hiding behind bankruptcy) and a bore. However, the fights with rosie odoughnut were great “pass the popcorn” moments.

Trump is having financial difficulties and Barack and the Dems control and are willing to use the printing press for big money. I think a deal has been arranged and Prejean getting dumped was part of the deal.

You are correct. This is nothing less than a witch hunt. They are inventing reasons to fire when the real reason is that the pageant officials are anti-Christian bigots.

This split benefits her, allowing her to get endorsements and publish a book. Her lawyer making a stink about it is a way to get cheap publicity.

Trump has bankrupted every business he has ever run. Why should the pageants be any different?
Would any of these other technical issues have come to light if she had not said what she did?? I think not. Or if she had become Miss USA without having been asked that question, her term would have been uneventful. It is obvious what is happening here.
I hope she sues to keep the title. Imagine if someone like Patricia Heaton had been a judge and voted down a contestant because she had a pro choice view. You can bet there would be lawsuits then.
