Excellent. Thanks for posting.
The mayor of Phoenix blamed it on Sheriff Arpaio:
Excerpt:
Phoenix mayor Phil Gordon used the occasion of a fatal shooting at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC allegedly by a white supremacist to accuse Sheriff Joe Arpaio of being sympathetic to Nazis and neo-Nazis. At a news conference called to discuss Phoenix’s light rail system, Gordon led off expressing his sympathies to the family of the victim in the DC shooting. He then called white supremacists “despicable” and wondered aloud why community and law enforcement leaders across the Valley have repeatedly denounced white Supremacists, except for Arpaio.
According to Gordon, the sheriff has had numerous occasions to criticize neo-Nazis, but has instead said things like “I’m the sheriff of all the people. I’ll defend anyone’s rights.” Gordon pointed to a Larry King interview with Arpaio where he quoted Arpaio as saying, “You know, they call you KKK. They did me. I think it’s an honor, right? It means we must be doing something right.”
Gordon called on Arpaio to, “for the first time,” denounce neo-Nazis and their methods.
In an interview with KFYI News (see photo below), Arpaio denied that he associates with, or is sympathetic to, white supremacists. “I don’t have to apologize because I never have been connected with any of these associations... And to accuse me of being connected to these organizations is ridiculous, and I think it’s slanderous.”
He suggested Gordon is still trying to put pressure on the sheriff to quit his enforcement efforts aimed at arresting illegal immigrants. “This is all a game plan to get me to stop enforcing these illegal immigration laws. So he’s gone to the bottom of the pit, accusing this sheriff 50 years in law enforcement with being associated with being neo-Nazis.”

“whereas government tends to divide and amplify social and racial tensions”
So true!
Good read if you pick out the bits of BDS puke.
